Our story
String Project was born from the idea of combining high performance with respect for the arm. An Italian brand that produces monofilament and multifilament tennis strings, designed for those who want to play at their best without giving up comfort.
After 2 years of testing, the first string models were produced, further refined during production and finalised at the company's launch and the birth of the brand.

Identity
No string is like another: they all have unique, defined characteristics. Each string has one main, more pronounced trait — power, control or spin. There's a string for everything.
Protection
We develop exclusively strings that protect the joints from impact shocks. No excessive stiffness and materials able to dampen harmful vibrations. Our strings are Arm Friendly®.
Our technologies
We use the best available technologies: top-quality materials, several chemical processes and as many as 3 heat stages to stabilise the materials and obtain a string with medium-low stiffness and high performance.
In addition, our strings are finished with a liquid wax, for less friction and greater durability. …feel the difference.
Spring Load
It allows the molecular chains to contract repeatedly, with minimal tension loss and greater stability of properties over time.
Pre-Stretch
The pre-stretch of the core minimises tension loss and allows a lower stringing tension.
Double Heating
The heat treatments remove internal stresses and even out irregularities, making the string more flexible and elastic.
Liquid Wax
The string is finished with a layer of wax: it significantly extends durability, reduces wear and makes stringing easier.
Low Friction
Reducing friction delivers reduced string movement, greater spin thanks to snap-back and a longer lifespan.
Power Ribbons
Polypropylene and polyamide ribbons wound in several layers and diametrically opposed, to simulate the structure of natural gut.
Braided Core
The braided core ensures uniform elasticity and high strength.
